Ever woke up in the middle of the night with somewhat ridiculous and yet ground breaking idea that makes you want to turn on your laptop to write about The Million Dollar Idea as you also write your resignation letter so that you can quit that job you’re already tired of? Think this is just a dream? Are you going to just brush it off? Are you sure?
Yeah, you’re not sure. Life is beautiful like that. Nothing is really a sure thing. But you will never know if you don’t try, now, will you?
So, do it. Chase your dream (quite literally). There is a reason why start-up business is all the rage these days. Get out there and make your own business. Be your own boss. Go online and make the business plan, do your research. There are people out there could benefit from your idea. Look up what people need, what’s on demand right now. Plant the seed of your genius idea and harvest it into existence. You can do it!
Feel motivated yet?
Alright, hold on to that motivation and start spreading your ideas like wildfire (make sure you have your ideas patented first, okay? Keep the idea thieves out), so that you can begin to gather your very own cult. Okay, not cult, but you get what I mean. Start-up business needs people, you need a team to support your ideas and visions. Be it your friends or family or total strangers who share your work ethics and your visions in this business, you need to gather awesome people in your team so that you can brainstorm for a business plan.
I’m not saying you can’t make it on your own but two heads are better than one. Five to six heads should be even better then. You have only one perspective and working with other people will broaden your mind to take up other perspectives to form solid opinions about something. No man is an island, right?
Although you have to remember that too many cooks will spoil the soup. So, you have to be smart about it and make a team properly. Draw the line between not enough and too much. After all, this is your Million Dollar Idea, so you should have the final say in the important things. As I’ve said before, be your own boss and be the boss to your team. Lead them to go down the path you want to pave.
Need something to motivate the team of your start-up business? I have just the right idea for you to make sure your team will feel like a team. Togetherness is important in a group, so make your own custom t-shirts for your startup company. Who knows? These t-shirts could be your company’s uniform.
